Chimney Sweeping

Bedfordshire Woods use Rodtech’s Power Sweeping system which is very efficient at removing soot from flues.  Rodtech are a Norfolk based company and the equipment is manufactured in the UK.  My chimney sweep qualification was obtained on a City & Guilds Accredited programme which included sweeping different appliances, flues and liners and passing an advanced fault-finding test.  I am fully insured and offer a professional service at competitive rates with a sweep starting from £60 and a multi appliance discount available.

The power sweeping method is a very efficient way of removing soot, tar, sulphur deposits and bird nests.  A commercial vacuum fitted with a HEPA H13 filter is used to control dust and clean your appliance.  The appliance is sealed using either specialist sheets or foam plugs.  A smoke evacuation test will be provided once the appliance has been swept and a certificate issued that should be kept for your own records.
